Whether it’s on the dance floor, when you’re playing a board game, or now, when you’re snacking, there’s nothing like getting a little twisty. With the release of The Vege Chip Company’s brand new product, Vege Twists, it has successfully prioritised great flavour without the hidden nasties to create the perfect afternoon snack.
Not only are Vege Twists free from artificial flavours, colours and preservatives but they also have 80% less saturated fat than regular potato chips. Unlike other chips on the market, Vege Twists are made from a variety of grains, and contain lupin flour which is high in protein, dietary fibre and antioxidants. Lupin flour also reduces appetite, meaning that kids will feel full quickly and resist snacking on junk food throughout the day. Furthermore, Vege Twists are 100% gluten-free, meaning that coeliacs or those with gluten intolerances can still enjoy this healthier snack option.
“Our philosophy is about providing Australian families with healthier snacks that they can trust. For over two decades our products have contained no nasty additives or preservatives. Never have, never will. Now, more than ever, there’s such a variety in dietary requirements with the increase in food intolerances and allergies. We’re passionate about catering to all of them.” says Rob Crisfield, Director of The Vege Chip Company.
Vege Twists are conveniently sold in multipacks of 6x21g packets, perfect for the lunchbox. “We’re really excited about the new Vege Twists. They’ve got a great cheesy taste and they’re full of natural fibre, which a lot of similar snacks lack. It’s something new and exciting for the lunchbox and we know the kids will love them,” says Rob.
