1. How many flavours do Vege Chips come in?
The original Vege Chips come in five delicious wholesome flavours: Natural, BBQ, Sweet & Sour, Sea Salt & Vinegar and Chicken Style.

2. What packet sizes can I buy Vege Chips in?
All Vege Chip flavours are available in 100g and 50g packets. Multipack variety bag is also available containing 12 x 21 gram bags containing Natural, BBQ, Salt and Vinegar and Chicken Style.

3. Do Vege Chips Contain Gluten?
No, Vege Chips entire range of “Gluten Free” flavours are available through stores nationally.

4. What is Cassava?
Cassava is a tropical root vegetable. It is also known as yuca. For most people, cassava is commonly associated with tapioca (or sago). Cassava is grown in tropical regions around the world and is a staple food for around 600 million people.

5. How much fat is in Vege Chips in comparison to Potato chips?
Vege Chips have 30% less total fat than regular potato chips and contain less than 1% saturated fat per 25g serve.

6. Where can I buy Vege Chips?
You can buy Vege Chips Australia wide, from major supermarkets including Coles, Woolworths, Spar and IGA as well as good health food stores, chemists and some corner stores. Also available in a bulk 28 x 21g packets in a carton at Costco. (Please check our “Retailers” page for more details).

7. Are Vege Chips Made in Australia?
Absolutely, our Vege Chip range are made in beautiful Currumbin, Queensland Australia, from ethically sourced local and international ingredients. The Vege Deli Crisps exotic blends are imported.

8. Are Your Snacks Suitable for Vegans?
Yes, except for “Turmeric and Cheese” Deli Crisps, which contain dairy products.

9. Do Vege Chips contain nuts or other allergens?
No. Our products do not contain nuts. Allergen status is: Vege Chips contain a small amount of sesame seeds which gives them a unique nutty flavour. Every batch is also stringently tested for gluten, crustacean, nuts & dairy contamination in a NATA approved laboratory.

10. Do Vege Chips contain MSG?
We have no added MSG in our product. Lots of vegetables contain naturally occurring MSG like broccoli for example. Vege Chips may contain naturally occurring MSG.

11. Are our products free from GM foods?
Yes. We have certain criteria for suppliers to adhere to. Suppliers have to provide certification to us that their products are GM free.

12. How do we label our products?
This is done through a quality assurance process. It is a very technical process where specific measures are undertaken to assure the correct labelling standards meet the legislation through the Food Act and FSANZ. This process also requires laboratory testing which is through a NATA certified laboratory. We test for the following allergens; gluten, crustacean, nuts & dairy. Your assurance that every batch of Vege chips are tested to the highest standards.
