Community & Environment
We are part of the REDcycle Program!
The Vege Chip Co is proud to be part of the REDcyle program, sharing responsibility in a sustainable future by reducing pollution.
What is REDcycle?
The RED Group is a recycling organisation who has developed and implemented the REDcycle Program; a recovery initiative for post-consumer soft plastic. This program is true product stewardship model where manufacturers, retailers and consumers are sharing responsibility in creating a sustainable future (redcycle.net.au 2021).
How much plastic has REDcycle collected?
RED Group recovers and recycles over 3 million pieces of soft plastic (bags and packaging) every week, and has recycled over 380 million pieces of soft plastic since 2011. That's over 1580 tonnes of soft plastic that will never end up in landfill. Read more on REDcyle's website
